I am currently in my second year of a three year Bachelor of Arts degree studying towards a double major in Event Management and Design Studies, at the Auckland University of Technology, having currently completed one full year. I have immersed myself in a variety of different events and thus gaining valuable experience as well as achieving high marks in both my assignments and overall papers, with the majority being A+.
Prior to university, I was a student at Kerikeri High School after my family emigrated from England. I enjoyed participating in the school drama productions, inter-school Equestrian events and extra-curricular activities.
I am punctual, motivated, loyal, honest, competent, and methodical. I have a clean full driving licence and my hobbies include horse riding, swimming and dance.

2011 - 2011In this position I am in a 2-3month internship going towards one of my university papers and my overall degree.
My responsibilities is to assist the Event Co-ordinator, Rachelle Pedersen, in the organisation, co-ordination and promotion of various events for the High Street District in Auckland CBD from August 2011 - end of October 2011.
My roles have been very broad in having inputted into various activities throughout the process. I have been communicating with associates and companies around Auckland as well as those directly involved with the Guild on matters relating to upcoming events, meetings and any other liaising requirements.
I have been responsible in organising and co-ordinating volunteers for the events including rosters and t-shirt printing, as well as on the event day co-ordination, plus much more.
As a Casual Event Staff, my responsibilities are to ensure the overall safety of visitors and security of the venue at sports, concerts and other such events at Eden Park, Vector Arena or North Harbour Stadium where positioned.
Excellent customer service is paramount and aim to assist with any problems as best and efficiently as possible, bearing in mind that customers safety is a number one priority.
As security measures, we have been trained and experienced in bag searching, wanding, assessing human behaviour and the steps to take to prevent any problems or when an issue arises, how to handle it in a professional manner.
Be flexible and assist other Event Staff, work as a team to produce a great experience for visitors to the venue(s) and enjoy the event.
2007 - 2010After school and during School term child care. Keri OSCAR & Pukeko Park is a Primary and Pre-School Childcare facility that takes care of Primary school and Pre-school children during the day, after school and during holidays while parents are at work or other such activities.
Responsible for the care of the children, providing food, water, games and other activites such as, sports, games, arts and crafts, cinemas, playground and other entertainment to stimulate their growth and knowledge.
