2007 - 2011I spent 3 years dealing with REACH regulation issues from an environmental perspective. In collaboration with the different business units, my main objective was to engage all the required procedures in order to obtain and/or maintain registrations of the 250 substances for which I was responsible for in Europe (out of ca 500 for the entire group). I adviced business units about the possible registration strategies according to the business orientations. To assist me in this task, I was in close relationship with all our local contacts (agents, consultants and distributors) but also with European and local Authorities.
I was in charge of all the preparation of the technical and scientific dossier for the environmantal part, including hazard evaluation according to the European guidance documents.
My position allowed me to have a broad-spectrum vision of all the different aspects of Regulatory Affairs. Moreover, in charge of numerous substances, I developed organization skills, good communication in English and French and a good knowledge of different regulations (chemical, agrochemical, biocide).
2003 - 2007Registration Manager for Mediterranean and African area (including Israel and Turkey) for Nufarm SAS ; Australian company I joined in 2003. In collaboration with Regional Managers, my main objective was to engage all the registration procedures in order to obtain and/or maintain registrations in the above-mentioned countries.
I was also in charge of the preparation of the technical and scientific dossiers (Annex II and III), including risks evaluation according to the local good agricultural practices. As an example, my last action consisted in the preparation of the post-notification dossiers for specific plant protection products.
I was also involved in the European Copper Task Force where I represented my company in the scientific committee.
I was the European coordinator for all questions related to my active substances port-folio and associated formulations as far as registration is concerned.
